Grow the best-tasting cherry tomatoes with the Johnsons Tomato Crimson Crush Seeds. Suitable for outdoor or greenhouse cultivation, this blight-resistant tomato plant produces a heavy crop of round tasty tomatoes. It is an intermediate type that requires support. Indoor Sowing: January to March for greenhouse crops. March to April, for outdoor crops, in pots or trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, and cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear in 7-14 days. Remove the cover when seedlings appear. When it is 10cm tall, transplant it into individual pots. Grow on at approx. 15°C. For greenhouse crops: Transplant to growing position in grow bags or large pots in the greenhouse from April to May. For outdoor crops: Stand outside for a few days in late May (avoid frosts). Transplant to a sunny spot outside. Pinch outside shoots regularly and grow tips once 5-6 trusses have been set. Provide support with canes. Keep moist and weed-free. Harvest June to October, outdoor crops from August. TIP: Apply a liquid feed every 2-3 weeks when the first trusses have been set.
