- One dose worming tablets for dogs
- 2 x 500mg film-coated tablets
- For the control of Roundworm and Common Tapeworm
Keep your dog free of worms with our Worming Tablets. Tapeworms and roundworms are two types of worms that most commonly affect dogs. Our worming tablets, a licensed veterinary medicine for the control of Roundworm, Common Tapeworm and Hookworm, will keep your dog protected. These are 2 x 500mg film-coated tablets. This pack will treat a 10 kg (22 lb) dog twice or a 20 kg (44 lb) dog once. How Do I use it? Weigh your pet carefully and calculate the number of tablets needed. Give the tablet(s) in the morning, when your dog's stomach is empty, with about a fifth of your dog's daily food. Do not feed again until eight hours later. The tablets are film-coated and must be fed whole, not broken or divided. Treat dogs separately and make sure only the dog to be treated has access to the food. Adult Dogs (over 24 weeks) treat every 3-6 months. Since fleas transmit the most common Tapeworm, so to reduce Tapeworm infection, effective flea control is required. Puppies (up to 24 weeks) and small dogs less than 6kg (13lb 3oz): use Pets with Wilko One Dose Worming Tablets for Small Dogs and Puppies, 100mg film-coated tablets. Dosing instructions: Give one tablet for each 10 kg (22 lb) of body weight. 6 kg (13 lb 3 oz) to 10 kg (22 lb) one tablet. 10.1 kg (22 lb 4 oz) to 20 kg (44 lb) 2 tablets. For dogs weighing over 20 kg (44 lb), give one additional tablet for every 10 kg (22 lb) in weight. For animal treatment only. Contra-Indications: When used as recommended Pets with Wilko One Dose Worming Tablets are unlikely to cause vomiting. However, if vomiting does occur after treatment, do not repeat the dose. If a hypersensitive reaction occurs, cease treatment. Precautions: For animal treatment only. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store in a dry place. Do not store above 25°C. This product can be an irritant to the skin and eyes. Tablets are film-coated and should not be broken or divided. Wash hands after use. If symptoms of disease persist or appear, consult your veterinary surgeon. Dispose of empty packaging and any remaining tablets in the household refuse. For more information see enclosed leaflet. Additional information: Each tablet contains 500mg of Nitroscanate.
