Update your door with our Victorian end latch polished chrome finish door handles. Door latch handles are suitable for use with latches or internal locks that don't have keyhole access. They are ideal for use on your internal house doors that don't need locking or security features. To install, place the square spindle bar through the tubular latch, then affix one handle to one side of the door. Ensure the spindle bar is fully pushed back into the handle and that it protrudes at least 12.5mm (1/2") on the other side to give adequate leverage. Place the other handle over the spindle bar and repeat fixing. Always drill full-length pilot holes and avoid using power screwdrivers as manual screwdrivers allow more control and are likely to damage fittings during installation. Thoroughly lubricate all moving parts on the back of the handle before final fixing. Care and use: Our handles have a durable hardened finish. Regular cleaning with moist chamois leather or dusting with a soft cloth is the only maintenance required.
