Our pregnancy plus duo contains a range of essential nutrients for you and your baby with multivitamins and minerals including Folic Acid and Vitamin D and DHA (with fish oil). A special combination of essential vitamin and minerals with Folic Acid. Folic Acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. Use from conception through to breast feeding. The Government's Chief Medical Officer advises that women who are pregnant or trying to conceive should take 400µg of Folic Acid every day until the twelfth week of pregnancy. Also contains 200mg of DHA that contributes to the normal eye and brain development of the baby. For the beneficial effect pregnant women need to take an extra 250mg of EPA and DHA.
