Our 1kg Organic Potato Fertiliser is for the sustained growth of potato tubers and increased potato yield. It is suitable for garden soil, potato barrels and containers and is recommended for other vegetable crops. 100% organic natural goodness, enriches compost in barrels and tubs. The slow release of organic nutrients is sufficient for a whole season. Seed Potatoes can be grown in any container larger than 30cm (12") wide and 30cm deep (12"). Good drainage is essential. Use our multi-purpose compost or a soil-based John Innes No.2. Place the potato tubers 15cm (6") deep and fill them with compost mixed with Wilko Potato fertiliser. 30cm (12") minimum size diameter pot - 10g 38cm (15") - 15g 50cm (20") - 30g Planting in open soil - apply Potato Fertiliser 140g sq.m (4oz per sq yard) Dig a trench 10 - 15cm deep (4"-6") place seed potatoes 30cm (12") apart, with the shots uppermost. After planting, cover the seed potatoes with soil from either side of the trench to form a ridge.
