Make sure your garden gate looks great and lasts as long as possible by installing it properly. All of our gates have clear instructions for installation, but you’ll find the job a lot easier with the appropriate hand tools and a quality drill.

All gates are different, but you may want to install a solid fence post either side of the garden gate. Clear the area before fixing the hinges and brackets onto the fence post, making sure your garden gate will sit level and open with ease. Wonky gates don’t look great and can put stress on the hinges, wearing them down faster.
