These white blossoms have large flower spikes, which provide an early summer colour and are perennial. Perfect for cottage-style garden borders and dot planting, Lupinus Russel can also be cut as a flower to create stunning bouquets for indoor arrangements. Flowering height: 40inch/100cm. Planting guide: When to plant - March to June. How far apart - Plant - 4"/10cm. Soil requirement - Likes a rather heavy, well-drained soil with a good supply of organic matter. Enrich sandy soils with leaf mould or compost. How to plant: Position the plant in full sun or partial shade. Flowering height - 40"/100cm. Planting depth - 4"/10cm. Flowering time - June to August. Care guide - Remove flowers when they begin to fade. Top dressing after planting with a slow-release fertiliser like bone meal will help with flowering. Please note the bulbs are bound tightly with an elastic band, once removed the bundle splits into two.
