Mow your lawn as short as possible. Use a rake or scarifier to ensure that all dead grass, moss and debris are removed. Shake the carton well and apply the mixture of seed and feed granules to the prepared area. Apply an even covering of compost over the lawn to protect the seed. Water the soil regularly and ensure it does not dry out.
