Directions for use: Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe and satisfactory use of this product. Requires 3 x 1.5V AA / LR6 batteries (batteries included). Batteries are packed separately. Insert batteries before first use. This product is provided with a built-in power-saving feature which automatically cycles 8 hours on and 16 hours off every 24 hours. Press the button on the battery box to turn the lights ON and to activate the timer function. Repeatedly press the button to select your preferred lighting pattern. You can manually switch the lights OFF by pressing the button on the battery box until the lights are turned OFF. Repeat process to turn lights ON again. Every time lights are switched ON or OFF, this will reset the timer. To replace batteries, turn the switch to the OFF position, remove the retaining screw with an appropriate screwdriver (not supplied), and open the battery cover. Remove the old batteries and dispose of them safely. Insert new batteries into the compartment ensuring the '+' positive pole of the batteries is placed with the corresponding symbol. Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw it back in place. This product contains LED lights and although non-replaceable, these are highly energy-efficient and have a greater lifespan than that of ordinary filament bulbs. Take care when positioning lights in your desired location. Suggestions for indoor or outdoor use: On Christmas trees, outdoor trees and over or around window frames. For outdoor use, lights should be sheltered from direct wind, rain and snow.
