Give your garden a vibrant and pleasant look with the Rudbeckia Gloriosa Daisies flower seeds by Johnsons. These beautiful and bright daisy-like flowers have strongly contrasting black central cones. They are adored for the nature of being a reliable performer for mixed beds and borders. For indoor sowing: February to April, in trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover lightly with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover the tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20˚C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 40cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed-free. Flowers July to October, the following year. For outdoor sowing: May to June, in a prepared seedbed. Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. When large enough to handle thin to 10cm apart. Transplant 40cm apart in flowering position from September to October. Flowers August to October, the following year.
