The Mediterrani royal outdoor pizza oven is a good quality traditional clay oven with insulation. The clay oven is hand made using high-quality refractory clay and layered with insulation and refractory mortar to give the insulation and thermal mass required to achieve high-temperature cooking and have the ability to retain the heat too for slow cooking. The clay oven is finished in real bricks and attached with a door made of cast iron. The special coating on the outside finishes the thermal properties. The clay oven is so efficient that you can touch the outside surface while the clay oven is at full temperature without burning yourself. The pizza oven has a temperature gauge fitted at the outside that will read up to 500 degrees C. You can use this outdoor oven for spit-roasting, supplied with spit support. The pizza oven is large enough, allowing you to easily fit a few roasting dishes or casserole pots in there. The outer dimensions are 100 sq. cm with the corners rounded off, and internally the oven is approximately 74cm wide and front to back around 80cm. The clay oven weighs approx. 500kg.
